We're an independent directory of Australian dental clinics — and a publisher of the data we collect about how those clinics present themselves online. This page explains exactly where the information comes from, how we keep it accurate, and how the site is funded.
LocalDentists.au is a national directory covering all Australian states and territories. In August 2026 we scanned 6,505 dental clinic websites across the country. Each clinic gets a public page with its contact details, location, services and, where available, a written profile.
The directory is published by Peak Marketing Systems (ABN 18 396 711 004). We are not a dental practice and we do not provide dental or medical advice — see our terms and disclaimers.
Clinic names, addresses, phone numbers and websites are compiled from publicly available information. We correct or remove entries on request from the practice.
We measure each clinic's website for performance and accessibility (using Google Lighthouse), and detect whether the site offers online booking or a chat widget. These measurements are automated and repeatable — see our dental websites research and the State of Dental Websites report.
Where a clinic has provided information — or where it is publicly documented — we write a short profile describing the practice, its team and its services. These profiles are written by our editorial team and reviewed against the clinic's own website. We do not publish patient testimonials or clinical claims (see below).
Practitioners can update their listing at any time. If something is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it — accuracy is the product.
